Covenant seeks to educate, equip, and engage our congregation to proclaim Jesus Christ by living missionally and
extending gospel hospitality in Birmingham and around the world.

Covenant's Missions Focus

Covenant is currently committed to supporting 82 missionary partners—51 global partners; 15 ministries based in the greater Birmingham area; three US-based church-plant ministries; and 13 campus ministries, primarily in Alabama. Locally, we continue to focus on Fairfield, AL, with substantial resources committed to ministry partners there, including Hope Health Center, Restoration Academy, Aspire Movement, Urban Hope Community Church, and Grace House Ministries.

We support missionaries in more than 20 countries around the world, ranging from global professionals to medical ministries. We have a particular focus in Ukraine and Chile, where we have recently partnered with Redeemer City to City, a church-planting movement initiated by Redeemer PCA New York and Tim Keller, to support a church plant in Santiago. In addition to the local ministries mentioned above and our new partnership in Chile, our missions focus continues to be:

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). Covenant helps fund all RUF ministries in Alabama, as well as the RUF ministries at City Campus in New York, Arkansas State University, and the University of Louisville.

Church Planting. We are committed to supporting three church-planting sites: Syracuse, NY, Spokane, WA, and Fairfield, AL.

Short-Term Opportunities. There are always mulitple opportunities throughout the year at Covenant to get to know our missions partners and participate in short-term missions projects and trips. Also, through Faith Promise giving, you have the opportunity to commit your personal support to these ministries. Faith Promise is as important as ever because each of our missionary partners will be counting on Faith Promise for a significant portion of the support we have committed. We also have allocated Faith Promise funds to be available to meet immediate requests and one-time needs.

Covenant's Missions Committee

We have a thoughtful and dedicated team of Covenant members and staff who are active participants in Missions Commitee. Significant time, deliberation, and prayer have been spent on the continuing work of the gospel. Our chief aim is that God is glorified through our work. We thank you for your prayers.
