Ministry at Covenant is in full swing for the fall. Bible Studies have started. Wednesday nights are underway. Special events and ministry opportunities are being planned so mark your calendar!


November 14 | Feast Not Famine (6:30) and the Holiday Market (5:00) RESERVATIONS
Betsy Childs Howard will be speaking. Betsy grew up at Covenant and now lives in NYC. She is the author of Seasons of Waiting. Please be praying about what friends, family, or neighbors you will invite.


December 3 | Cleaning Bucket assembly for Christmas in Fairfield (11:30)

Tuesday morning Bible Study will be over but we will gather for a lunch of fellowship and putting buckets of cleaning supplies together for the families that participate in Christmas in Fairfield. A Sign Up Genius for the cleaning supplies will go out closer to the date.


December 3 | Lovelady Dinner and Concert (6:00)

Charles Billingsly is coming back! 300 plus women from the Lovelady Center join us for dinner and a concert. Their children participate with our children in a mini Christmas VBS. Clear your calendar and make this a priority.


December 6 | Christmas in Fairfield (Hope Health Center, Fairfield)

This is Covenant’s annual Christmas service opportunity, and there are several ways to get involved. You can sponsor a child and provided clothing items for them, you can volunteer at the Christmas Shop, and you can donate funds for to stock the Christmas Shop. More information coming in November!


December 8 | Lessons and Carols (6:00)

Join us as we celebrate the season and enjoy Lessons and Carols from our wonderful Chancel Choir.


December 15 | Act of Congress (Covenant)

Act of Congress will be in concert at Covenant! You do not want to miss this night of traditional and new Christmas music.


December 13 and 14 | Created for a Purpose Christmas Workshop

Friday (5:00-9:00), Saturday (10:00-2:00)

Please consider joining us for one session and leading a room with two teenagers and 14 campers. Between the two sessions we will have 320 3rd – 8th grade girls from Covenant and our community join us for worship, teaching, and Christmas projects. Join us for 4 hours to share the love of Christ and the hope of the gospel!


January 10 | Come to the Table (Friday 5:30)

We are shaking things up in the Winter/Spring of 2020! Friday night will be an opportunity to gather at the church and do a service project, worship together, and then head to homes in small groups to enjoy an evening of fellowship and food!


February 1 | Biblical Theology Workshop with Nancy Guthrie (Briarwood)

Register NOW before this event fills up! Invite neighbors and friends to hear Nancy teach on major themes throughout the Bible.


February 28 – 29 | Sacred Studio

This will be the third year for this outreach event at Covenant, the grown-up version of Created for a Purpose. Abby Hutto, who wrote God for Us will be joining us to teach all three sessions! We NEED a team! Would you consider and pray about volunteering for helping in one of the following ways:

 -Worship – this does not mean that you lead worship but you organize and assemble a group to lead worship.

 -Registration – if you like spreadsheets and data this is the job for you!

 -Hospitality – Food, flowers, making all things beautiful—who wants this job?

 -Artisan Communication – Recruiting and communicating with the talented artists who come and teach the Studio portion of the conference.

 -Logistics – the air traffic controller who makes sure that rooms are reserved, studios are set up, supplies are ordered, etc, etc…Someone who likes to dot all of the Is and cross all of the Ts!

April 16 – 19 | Churchwide Women’s Beach Retreat!

Susan Gray and Cameron Hicks are working on a weekend away for ladies of all ages.
