In light of the present pandemic, we thank you for your warm-hearted deference to the well-being of others. As we continue to persevere
in love during this unprecedented time, join us in looking to our faithful and unchanging Savior. He is our rock, our fortress, and strong tower.
Let us not give in to fear or cynicism since he is our “very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

UPDATE October 7, 2021

Dear beloved saints,
Please note our updated approach to this present providence, detailed below. We do not pretend to know more than the immunologists, virologists, and epidemiologists! We are very thankful that the Delta variant seems to be far less dangerous than it was previously. However, COVID-19 is teaching us all humility. Please continue to pray for us – your accountable leaders – as we seek to lead through this season. Moreover, please continue to pray for our many health professionals who see the worst of this pandemic regularly. Many of them – our brothers and sisters in Christ – are exhausted and discouraged.
As you’ll see, things will be more open at Covenant beginning this Sunday, October 10. At the same time, we know some members of our body need more protection than others. We have done our best to account for this in our present plan. While we do not wish to shift things around endlessly, to the best of our limited ability, we desire to submit to God’s providence in faith, hope, and the humility that befits love at all times. As before, everyone who desires to gather for worship and fellowship is fully welcome.
Here is our new approach:
Beginning this Sunday, October 10, in both services, we recommend masks and seating in every other row. We will require masks and social distancing in one designated section on the lower level of the Sanctuary. Masks are recommended for those worshiping in the Fellowship Hall.
Sunday School
Masks and social distancing recommended.
Other Gatherings
Masks and social distancing recommended.

As always, it is our privilege to serve you for Jesus’ sake!
In King Jesus,
